About Chieftain (aka Nobby)

Chieftain is now fully retired from competition work. He is 16 years young and enjoying a quieter life, chilling out in the slower lane with his mares and foals.

If you saw how he adores his babies, it's a sight to behold. They transform him into a youngster and he likes nothing better than to play with them. He's probably more attentive than their dams and parades about with that proud father look on his face (only short of the big cigar)

Chieftain has competed in most disciplines over the years and his youngstock carry on the family tradition. His offspring are competing now themselves in all disciplines, at all levels. You can see a selection of stock he has produced over the years. There is a dedicated paragraph to some of them below!

Nobby's Family Tree!

This first picture is of Bantac Sultana who is grand dam to Nobby.

Now at 25 years young she is enjoying retirement with Amanda her owner, who tells me that she is spolit to death even though she is a bit senile now!

It was fabulous to get photos of Sultana for which I am forever grateful to Amanda and her family!

Now where's Sultana's Wonda?

This is Nobby's full sister Zhensuk Sweetsoux (Echo), owned and very much loved by Sarah Wilson in Scotland.

She has bred a few foals, mainly to proven large sports horses but the majority have inherited the appaloosa coat pattern.
